Who I am

Service has been the thread line in my life—from working one of the most dangerous jobs in the military, to building businesses here in Great Falls, to serving four terms in the Montana House of Representatives, and now as your City Commissioner.

I served as a flight deck troubleshooter aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. America, where every launch and recovery came with real risks. It was intense, high-stakes work that taught me discipline, focus, and how to stay calm under pressure. Those lessons have stuck with me ever since.

When I returned home, I rolled up my sleeves and started several local businesses aimed at creating opportunities right here in Great Falls. One of them was even recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. That recognition wasn’t just a milestone—it was a reminder of what’s possible when we invest in our people and our community. Over the years, those businesses have helped hundreds of local folks earn a living, support their families, and maybe even treat themselves to a Sons of Norway Viking deep-fried meatball at the State Fair.

Along the way, I stayed active in public service—both as a legislator and now as a City Commissioner. My focus has always been on practical, community-driven solutions that reflect the real needs of the people I serve.

At every step, service has been my north star. I care deeply about our community, and I believe in the people who call it home. With your support, I will keep showing up, working hard, and doing my part to make Great Falls a place we are all proud to live in—together.
